The church is set prominently against a koppie in Kareedouw with an breathtaking backdrop of the mountains. The interior reflects fine craftsmanship and has a concentric seating plan.
In front of the church, dating back to 1938, is a monument commemorating the centenary celebrations of the Groot Trek. Another is where the late BJ Vorster, previous president of SA is buried.
The church is well maintained and well worth visiting.
